Sanjay Macheri

The Face of New-Age Leadership in Rajasthan

Sanjay Macheri was born on March 29, 1996, in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. He hails from the Amer constituency of Jaipur. His father's name is Vikram Singh Shekhawat, and his mother's name is Santosh Kanwar. Sanjay Macheri belongs to a humble Rajput family. He is currently unmarried.

Sanjay Macheri received his early education in Amer. He completed his studies from class 8 to 12 at a government school in Harmada. In 2012, he enrolled at the renowned Maharaja College in Jaipur for higher education, where he began pursuing a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) degree. In his very first year, Sanjay Macheri became a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and started actively working as a dedicated member of the organization.

Sanjay Macheri received his early education in Amer. From 8th to 12th grade, he studied at the government school in Harmada. In 2012, he enrolled in the prestigious Maharaja College in Jaipur for higher education and began pursuing a BCA degree. In the very first year, Sanjay Macheri became a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and started actively working as a member.

Sanjay Macheri participated in all protests and demonstrations organized under the ABVP banner during his college days. In 2013, ABVP appointed him as the Unit President. After being given this responsibility, Sanjay launched a membership drive at Maharaja College and encouraged new students to join ABVP. In 2014, ABVP nominated Sanjay Macheri as the candidate for the student union president election, which he won, becoming the Student Union President of Maharaja College.

As Student Union President, Sanjay Macheri worked to improve the disorderly conditions prevalent in Maharaja College. In 2015, he took admission in the University of Rajasthan for an MA degree. In the very first year, ABVP entrusted him with another responsibility by appointing him Unit Vice President. At the University of Rajasthan as well, Sanjay continued his role as an active student leader. From 2015 onward, he stayed at Bhabha Hostel at the university and continued his student politics from there.

In 2017, Sanjay was made a member of the ABVP working committee. That same year, he was nominated as ABVP's candidate for University President in the student union elections, although he did not win. Despite the loss, Sanjay continued to fight for student rights with the same enthusiasm. In 2019, ABVP appointed him as the Jaipur Department Coordinator. Sanjay carried out every responsibility given by the party diligently.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sanjay Macheri collaborated with the RSS to distribute masks and sanitizers. From that year onward, he also became an active member of the RSS. Currently, Sanjay Macheri is a member of the Dharma Jagran Executive Committee in the RSS. He is also active on social media, with thousands of followers on his platforms. In 2016, Sanjay Macheri launched a major campaign at the University of Rajasthan aimed at providing self-defense training to female students. Under this campaign, Sanjay offered special training to empower girls to defend themselves against atrocities and to ensure they could protect themselves in adverse situations. To motivate the students, Sanjay invited Shifuji Shaurya to the university and organized a major seminar. The program was a great success and was conceptualized entirely by Sanjay Macheri.
